The Marian Mustangs prevailed the host Gabriel Richard Fighting Irish volleyball team by a score of 3-1 in Wednesday's league test.

The Mustangs now have a 7-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Rockford for a non-league test on Thursday, August 25. Marian will confront a Rams team coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Forest Hills Central (Grand Rapids, MI). The Rams record now stands at 6-6.

The Fighting Irish (2-2) will now prepare for their test against Bishop Foley (Madison Heights, MI). The Ventures enter the non-league test with a 0-3 record. In their last test, Bishop Foley dropped by Richard (Riverview, MI), 3-0, in a league test.
