August 24, 2023: Taft, CA 93268 The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the Taft Wildcats (Taft, CA) and the visiting Arvin Bears (Arvin, CA), saw Taft's volleyball squad nip Arvin by a tally of 2-1.
With the win, Taft upgrades its record to 1-1 on the year. The Wildcats travel to West (Bakersfield, CA) to play the Vikings in a non-league bout on Tuesday, August 29. The Vikings go into the bout with a record of 0-0.
The Bears now own a 0-1 record. They play next when they travel to Tehachapi for a bout on Tuesday, October 3.
