Russell Red Devils (Russell, KY) fans were thrilled Thursday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the host Prestonsburg Blackcats (Prestonsburg, KY), 6-0 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Red Devils confront the Blazer Tomcats (Ashland, KY) in a District 63 challenge, on Tuesday, August 29. Russell will attempt to better on its 6-0 season record. The Tomcats enter the challenge with a 4-0 record after their 7-2 non-league win over Martin County (Inez, KY).
