August 24, 2023: Westminster, CO 80021 The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the Northfield Nighthawks (Denver, CO) and the host Standley Lake Gators (Westminster, CO), saw Northfield's volleyball squad beat Standley Lake by a tally of 2-0.
With the win, Northfield upgrades its record to 1-0 on the year. The Nighthawks host Golden (Golden, CO) to play the Demons in a non-league bout on Wednesday, August 30. The Demons go into the bout with a record of 1-0. Golden won 2-0 in their recent non-league bout against Bear Creek (Lakewood, CO)
The Gators now own a 0-1 record. They play next when they host Fairview for a non-league bout on Tuesday, August 29. Standley Lake will play a Knights squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Arvada West (Arvada, CO). The Knights record now stands at 1-1.
