Georgia High School Softball - Deerfield-Windsor knocked off by First Presbyterian Day
August 24, 2023: Macon, GA 31210 In Thursday's non-league contest, the First Presbyterian Day Vikings (Macon, GA) softball team overwhelmed the visiting Deerfield-Windsor Knights (Albany, GA), by a margin of 10-2.
With the triumph, First Presbyterian Day moves its record to 6-4 on the year. The Vikings host Georgia Military College (Milledgeville, GA) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league contest on Monday, August 28. The Bulldogs come into the contest with a record of 2-3. Georgia Military College won 8-0 in their recent non-league contest against Mount de Sales Academy (Macon, GA)
In their next game, the Knights play the Tiftarea Academy Panthers (Chula, GA) in a GIAA 3AAA contest, on Tuesday, August 29. Deerfield-Windsor will attempt to move on its 5-4 season record.
