California High School Volleyball - Carter nudged by Covina
August 24, 2023: Covina, CA 91723 The Covina Colts volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting Carter Lions to 2 in the Colts non-league victory on Thursday.
The Colts now have a 2-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to St. Paul for a non-league game on Friday, August 25. Covina will meet a Swordsmen team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Sacred Heart of Jesus (Los Angeles, CA). The Swordsmen record now stands at 1-1.
The Lions (3-6) will now prepare for their game against Redlands East Valley (Redlands, CA). The Wildcats enter the non-league game with a 1-6 record. In their last game, Redlands East Valley nipped Summit (Fontana, CA), 3-0, in a non-league game.
