August 24, 2023: Little Rock, AR 72103 The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the Little Rock Southwest Gryphons (Little Rock, AR) and the visiting El Dorado Wildcats (El Dorado, AR), saw Little Rock Southwest's volleyball squad nip El Dorado by a tally of 3-2.
With the win, Little Rock Southwest upgrades its record to 1-1 on the year. The Gryphons host Perryville (Perryville, AR) to play the Mustangs in a non-league bout on Saturday, August 26. The Mustangs go into the bout with a record of 0-2. Perryville lost 3-1 in their recent non-league bout against Maumelle Charter (Maumelle, AR)
The Wildcats now own a 1-2 record. They play next when they host Camden Fairview for a non-league bout on Monday, August 28. El Dorado will play a Cardinals squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Bauxite (Bauxite, AR). The Cardinals record now stands at 0-2.
