August 24, 2024: Medina, OH 44256 The Highland Hornets football squad scored 28 points and limited the visiting Hudson Explorers to 21 in the Hornets non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Hornets now sport a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to North Royalton for a non-league test on Saturday, August 31. Highland will meet a Bears squad coming off a 21-6 non-league win over Maple Heights (Maple Heights, OH). The Bears record now stands at 1-0.
With the defeat, Hudson drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Explorers travel to Hoover (North Canton, OH) to meet the Vikings in a non-league test on Saturday, August 31. The Vikings come into the test with a record of 1-0. Hoover won 7-0 in their recent non-league test against Buchtel (Akron, OH)
