August 24, 2024: Gunnison, CO 81230 Fans at Saturday's non-league battle between the Mead Mavericks (Longmont, CO) and the host Gunnison Cowboys (Gunnison, CO), saw Mead's soccer squad knock off Gunnison by a count of 3-1.
The Mavericks (2-0) will now prepare for their battle against Riverdale Ridge (Thornton, CO). The Ravens enter the non-league battle with a 1-0 record. In their last battle, Riverdale Ridge tipped Bruce Randolph (Denver, CO), 3-1, in a non-league battle.
Next up, the Cowboys battle the Manitou Springs Mustangs (Manitou Springs, CO) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, August 27. Gunnison will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
