August 24, 2024: Winder, GA 30680 The Lovett Lions softball squad (Atlanta, GA), was routed 11-2 in Saturday's non-league contest with the host Apalachee Wildcats (Winder, GA)
With the triumph, Apalachee improves its record to 5-6 on the year. The Wildcats travel to Buford (Buford, GA) to face the Wolves in a non-league contest on Saturday, August 24. The Wolves enter the contest with a record of 5-0. Buford won 8-0 in their recent league contest against Mill Creek (Hoschton, GA)
The Lions now hold a 4-6 record. They play next when they host Holy Innocents Episcopal for a 2A Region 5 contest on Tuesday, August 27. Lovett will face a Golden Bears squad coming off a 6-3 non-league loss to Woodward Academy (College Park, GA). The Golden Bears record now stands at 1-8.
