August 24, 2024: Elkhorn, NE Elkhorn North (Elkhorn, NE) supporters left the game pleased Saturday as they saw their softball squad nudge the visiting Fremont Tigers (Fremont, NE), 4-3 in a non-league game.
With the triumph, Elkhorn North improves its record to 4-0 on the year. The travel to Gretna East (Gretna, NE) to play the Griffins in a non-league game on Tuesday, August 27. The Griffins enter the game with a record of 1-1. Gretna East lost 7-6 in their recent non-league game against Pius X (Lincoln, NE)
The Tigers now hold a 2-2 record. They play next when they travel to Papillion-LaVista South for a A District game on Tuesday, August 27. Fremont will play a Titans squad coming off a 10-8 non-league win over Grandview (Aurora, CO). The Titans record now stands at 2-1.
