August 24, 2024: Kennesaw, GA 30152 Mount Paran Christian Eagles (Kennesaw, GA) supporters left the game pleased Saturday as they saw their softball squad nudge the visiting Hillgrove Hawks (Powder Springs, GA), 4-3 in a non-league game.
With the triumph, Mount Paran Christian improves its record to 6-5 on the year. The Eagles travel to Whitefield Academy (Mableton, GA) to play the WolfPack in a 1A D-I Region 5 game on Tuesday, August 27. The WolfPack enter the game with a record of 3-3. Whitefield Academy lost 10-0 in their recent league game against Mount Vernon (Atlanta, GA)
The Hawks now hold a 8-4 record. They play next when they host Paulding County for a 6A Region 3 game on Tuesday, August 27. Hillgrove will play a Patriots squad coming off a 7-6 non-league win over North Cobb Christian (Kennesaw, GA). The Patriots record now stands at 4-8.
