August 24, 2024: Newcastle, OK 73065 The Newcastle Racers triumphed over the visiting Locust Grove Pirates softball squad by a count of 9-0 in Saturday's non-league challenge.
Next, the Racers meet the Harrah Panthers (Harrah, OK) in a 4A District 4 challenge, on Monday, August 26. Newcastle will attempt to upgrade on its 4-6 season record. The Panthers enter the challenge with a 3-2 record after their 14-0 league win over Perkins-Tryon (Perkins, OK).
The Pirates (10-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Nathan Hale (Tulsa, OK). The Rangers enter the non-league challenge with a 0-1 record. In their last challenge, Nathan Hale was routed by Locust Grove (Locust Grove, OK), 8-0, in a non-league challenge.
