Texas High School Volleyball - Pine Tree over Bowie
August 24, 2024: Arlington, TX 76018 The Pine Tree Pirates (Longview, TX) volleyball knocked off the host Bowie Volunteers (Arlington, TX), 2-0 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Pirates now possess a 7-8 record. They play next when they travel to Garland Christian Academy for a non-league bout on Saturday, August 24. Pine Tree will clash with a Swordsmen team coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Turner (Carrollton, TX). The Swordsmen record now stands at 2-1.
With the loss, Bowie drops to 3-2 on the campaign. The Volunteers travel to Hutto (Hutto, TX) to clash with the Hippos in a non-league bout on Friday, August 30. The Hippos come into the bout with a record of 9-10. Hutto won 3-0 in their recent league bout against Vista Ridge (Cedar Park, TX)
