With the win, Grayson County improves its record to 3-2 on the season. The Cougars host Butler County (Morgantown, KY) to encounter the Bears in a District 12 battle on Monday, August 26. The Bears go into the battle with a record of 0-4. Butler County lost 3-0 in their recent league battle against Edmonson County (Brownsville, KY)
The Tigers now own a 2-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hopkins County Central for a District 7 battle on Tuesday, August 27. Caldwell County will encounter a Storm squad coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Livingston Central (Smithland, KY). The Storm record now stands at 2-0.
