Georgia High School Softball - Glascock County holds off Johnson County
August 25, 2021: Wrightsville, GA 31096 Glascock County Panthers (Gibson, GA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Johnson County Trojans (Wrightsville, GA), 5-3 in a non-league challenge.
The Panthers now sport a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Harlem for a non-league challenge on Thursday, August 26. Glascock County will face a Bulldogs squad coming off a 7-0 non-league win over Grovetown (Grovetown, GA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 5-3.
With the loss, Johnson County falls to 2-4 on the campaign. The Trojans host Hawkinsville (Hawkinsville, GA) to face the Red Devils in a A Public Region 4 challenge on Thursday, August 26. The Red Devils enter the challenge with a record of 3-4. Hawkinsville lost 12-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Marion County (Buena Vista, GA)
