The Liberty Lancers football team (Colorado Springs, CO), was ripped 53-8 in Thursday's non-league challenge with the host Air Academy Kadets (US Air Force Academy, CO)

The Kadets (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Widefield (Colorado Springs, CO). The Gladiators come into the non-league challenge with a 1-0 record. In their last challenge, Widefield trounced Harrison (Colorado Springs, CO), 26-0, in a non-league challenge.

The Lancers now sport a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Canon City for a non-league challenge on Friday, September 2. Liberty will meet a Tigers team coming off a 21-5 non-league loss to Severance (Severance, CO). The Tigers record now stands at 0-1.
