August 25, 2022: Murfreesboro, TN 37130 Oakland Patriots (Murfreesboro, TN) backers went home satisfied Thursday as they saw their soccer squad beat the visiting Warren County Pioneers & Lady Pioneers (McMinnville, TN), 6-2 in a non-league test.
The Patriots now hold a 6-3 record. They play next when they host Franklin County for a non-league test on Tuesday, August 30. Oakland will meet a Rebels squad coming off a 7-0 non-league win over Columbia Central (Columbia, TN). The Rebels record now stands at 3-3.
With the loss, Warren County drops to 2-1 on the season. The Pioneers & lady pioneers host Stewarts Creek (Smyrna, TN) to meet the Red Hawks in a non-league test on Monday, August 29. The Red Hawks come into the test with a record of 5-1. Stewarts Creek lost 4-0 in their recent non-league test against Hendersonville (Hendersonville, TN)
