August 25, 2022: Rustburg, VA 24588 Rustburg Devils (Rustburg, VA) fans left the game content Thursday as they saw their football team gain a win over the visiting Monticello Mustangs (Charlottesville, VA), 30-6 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Rustburg improves its record to 1-1 on the campaign. The Devils travel to Appomattox County (Appomattox, VA) to battle the Raiders in a non-league test on Thursday, September 1. The Raiders come into the test with a record of 1-0. Appomattox County won 24-20 in their recent non-league test against Buckingham (Buckingham, VA)
With the loss, Monticello drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Wilson Memorial (Fishersville, VA) to battle the Green Hornets in a non-league test on Wednesday, August 31. The Green Hornets come into the test with a record of 0-0.
