North Carolina High School Volleyball - Pinecrest over Broughton
August 25, 2022: Raleigh, NC 27605 The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the Pinecrest Patriots (Southern Pines, NC) and the host Broughton Capitals (Raleigh, NC), witnessed Pinecrest's volleyball team run past Broughton by a score of 2-0.
The Patriots now have a 5-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cape Fear for a non-league test on Wednesday, August 31.
The Capitals (1-4) will now prepare for their test against Panther Creek (Cary, NC). The Catamounts enter the non-league test with a 2-2 record. In their last test, Panther Creek gained a win over Jordan (Durham, NC), 2-0, in a non-league test.
