With the win, Iola upgrades its record to 5-1 on the year. The Bulldogs travel to Brazos Christian (Bryan, TX) to face the Eagles in a non-league outing on Friday, August 26. The Eagles go into the outing with a record of 11-4. Brazos Christian won 3-2 in their recent non-league outing against Bremond (Bremond, TX)
Next, the Raiders clash with the Brazosport Exporters (Freeport, TX) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, August 25. Rice Consolidated will attempt to advance on its 3-18 season record. The Exporters come into the battle with a 0-1 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Humble (Humble, TX).
