North Carolina High School Volleyball - Lee County over Western Harnett

August 25, 2022: Sanford, NC 27330

The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the Lee County Yellow Jackets (Sanford, NC) and the visiting Western Harnett Eagles (Lillington, NC), saw Lee County's volleyball squad beat Western Harnett by a tally of 3-1.

With the win, Lee County upgrades its record to 3-3 on the year. The Yellow Jackets travel to Union Pines (Cameron, NC) to play the Vikings in a Sandhills 3A/4A bout on Tuesday, August 30. The Vikings come into the match with a record of 2-2. Union Pines lost 3-2 in their recent non-league match against Terry Sanford (Fayetteville, NC)

With the loss, Western Harnett drops to 1-3 on the campaign. The Eagles host Harnett Central (Angier, NC) to battle the Trojans in a All American 3A/4A match on Tuesday, August 30. The Trojans come into the match with a record of 0-5. Harnett Central lost 3-2 in their recent non-league match against Union Pines (Cameron, NC)
