The Minden Whippets football team (Minden, NE), was tipped 7-6 in Friday's non-league challenge with the host Adams Central Patriots (Hastings, NE)

The Patriots (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Holdrege (Holdrege, NE). The Dusters come into the non-league challenge with a 0-1 record. In their last challenge, Holdrege was tipped by Sidney (Sidney, NE), 32-23, in a non-league challenge.

The Whippets now sport a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they host St. Paul for a non-league challenge on Friday, September 1. Minden will meet a Wildcats team coming off a 18-13 non-league win over O'Neill (O'Neill, NE). The Wildcats record now stands at 1-0.
