The Purcell Marian Cavaliers football squad scored 26 points and restricted the visiting Aiken Falcons to 6 in the Cavaliers non-league victory on Friday.

The Cavaliers now possess a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Madeira for a non-league battle on Friday, September 1. Purcell Marian will face a MUSTANGS/AMAZONS squad coming off a 35-7 non-league loss to Shawnee (Springfield, OH). The MUSTANGS/AMAZONS record now stands at 1-2.

Coming up next, the Falcons face the Wyoming Cowboys (Cincinnati, OH) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, September 2. Aiken will attempt to advance on its 1-1 season record. The Cowboys enter the battle with a 2-0 record after their 13-0 non-league win over Monroe (Monroe, OH).
