Ohio High School Football - Aurora drops to Riverside
August 25, 2023: Painesville, OH 44077 In Friday's non-league game, the Riverside Beavers (Painesville, OH) football team knocked off the visiting Aurora Greenmen (Aurora, OH), by a final score of 31-14.
The Beavers (2-0) will now prepare for their game against Mentor (Mentor, OH). The Cardinals come into the non-league game with a 1-1 record. In their last game, Mentor was dropped by St. Ignatius (Cleveland, OH), 16-14, in a non-league game.
The Greenmen now hold a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they host West Geauga for a non-league game on Friday, September 1. Aurora will battle a Wolverines team coming off a 49-14 non-league loss to Kenston (Chagrin Falls, OH). The Wolverines record now stands at 0-2.
