The Garinger Wildcats football team (Charlotte, NC), was ripped 53-0 in Friday's non-league challenge with the host Berry Cardinal (Charlotte, NC)

The Cardinal (2-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Hopewell (Huntersville, NC). The Titans come into the non-league challenge with a 1-1 record. In their last challenge, Hopewell was ripped by Marvin Ridge (Waxhaw, NC), 42-12, in a non-league challenge.

The Wildcats now sport a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Harding University for a non-league challenge on Friday, September 1. Garinger will meet a Rams team coming off a 27-14 non-league loss to Ben L. Smith (Greensboro, NC). The Rams record now stands at 0-2.
