The Corona Panthers held off the visiting Big Bear Bears football team by a count of 48-41 in Friday's non-league outing.

With the win, Corona upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Panthers travel to Monte Vista (Spring Valley, CA) to encounter the Monarchs in a non-league outing on Friday, September 1. The Monarchs go into the outing with a record of 0-2. Monte Vista lost 22-20 in their recent non-league outing against Kearny (San Diego, CA)

With the loss, Big Bear moves to 1-1 on the season. The Bears host Rosamond (Rosamond, CA) to encounter the Roadrunners in a non-league outing on Saturday, September 2. The Roadrunners go into the outing with a record of 1-0. Rosamond won 42-16 in their recent non-league outing against Littlerock (Littlerock, CA)
