North Carolina High School Football - Jordan-Matthews drops to Carrboro

In Friday's non-league game, the Carrboro Jaguars (Carrboro, NC) football team knocked off the visiting Jordan-Matthews Jets (Siler City, NC), by a final score of 41-13.

The Jaguars (1-1) will now prepare for their game against East Chapel Hill (Chapel Hill, NC). The Wildcats come into the non-league game with a 0-2 record. In their last game, East Chapel Hill was dropped by Montgomery Central (Troy, NC), 62-0, in a non-league game.

The Jets now hold a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they host Cummings for a 1A/2A Mid-Carolina game on Friday, September 1. Jordan-Matthews will battle a Cavaliers team coming off a 25-24 non-league loss to Western Alamance (Elon, NC). The Cavaliers record now stands at 1-1.
