The Cedar Ridge Fighting Red Wolves football team (Hillsborough, NC), was beaten 26-13 in Friday's non-league challenge with the visiting Granville Central Panthers (Stem, NC)

The Panthers (1-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Bunn (Bunn, NC). The Wildcats come into the non-league challenge with a 0-2 record. In their last challenge, Bunn was beaten by Northampton County (Gaston, NC), 24-3, in a non-league challenge.

The Fighting Red Wolves now sport a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they host Randleman for a non-league challenge on Friday, September 1. Cedar Ridge will meet a Tigers team coming off a 14-7 non-league win over West Stokes (King, NC). The Tigers record now stands at 2-0.
