Georgia High School Football - Monroe Area trounces Cedar Shoals

In Friday's non-league match, the host Monroe Area Purple Hurricanes football squad scored a big 41-0 victory over the Cedar Shoals Jaguars.

In their next game, the Purple Hurricanes clash with the Eagle's Landing Eagles (McDonough, GA) in a non-league match, on Friday, September 1. Monroe Area will attempt to move on its 2-0 season record. The Eagles enter the match with a 0-2 record after their 83-0 non-league loss to Grayson (Loganville, GA).

The Jaguars (0-2) will now prepare for their match against East Forsyth (Gainesville, GA). The Broncos enter the AAAA Region 8A match with a 1-0 record. In their last match, East Forsyth routed Seckinger (Buford, GA), 44-20, in a non-league match.
