Pennsylvania High School Football - Woodland Hills crushed by Central Catholic

August 25, 2023: Pittsburgh, PA 15221

In Friday's non-league game, the Central Catholic Vikings (Pittsburgh, PA) football team smashed the host Woodland Hills Wolverines (Pittsburgh, PA), by a score of 43-7.

The Vikings (1-0) will now prepare for their game against St. Ignatius (Cleveland, OH). The Wildcats come into the non-league game with a 1-1 record. In their last game, St. Ignatius overwhelmed Mentor (Mentor, OH), 16-14, in a non-league game.

The Wolverines now sport a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they host Gateway for a non-league game on Friday, September 1. Woodland Hills will battle a Gators team coming off a 28-7 non-league loss to Mt. Lebanon (Pittsburgh, PA). The Gators record now stands at 0-1.
