Nebraska High School Football - Central City knocked off by Ord

Ord Chanticleers (Ord, NE) fans left the game content Friday as they saw their football team gain a win over the visiting Central City Bison (Central City, NE), 49-29 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, Ord improves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Chanticleers travel to Norfolk Catholic (Norfolk, NE) to battle the Knights in a non-league test on Friday, September 1. The Knights come into the test with a record of 1-0. Norfolk Catholic won 42-27 in their recent non-league battle against Oakland-Craig (Oakland, NE)

Coming up next, the Bison play the Cozad Haymakers (Cozad, NE) in a non-league battle, on Friday, September 1. Central City will attempt to advance on its 0-1 season record. The Haymakers go into the battle with a 0-1 record after their 28-0 non-league loss to McCook (McCook, NE).
