In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Morris Redskins football squad scored a big 43-3 victory over the Coal City Coalers.

In their next game, the Redskins clash with the Joliet West Tigers (Joliet, IL) in a non-league match, on Friday, September 1. Morris will attempt to move on its 1-0 season record. The Tigers enter the match with a 1-0 record after their 34-14 non-league win over Shepard (Palos Heights, IL).
