North Carolina High School Football - East Gaston beat Corvian Community

The East Gaston Warriors football squad scored 34 points and restricted the host Corvian Community Cardinals to 7 in the Warriors non-league victory on Friday.

The Warriors now possess a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Stuart W. Cramer for a non-league battle on Friday, September 1. East Gaston will play a Storm squad coming off a 38-14 non-league loss to Chase (Forest City, NC). The Storm record now stands at 0-2.

Coming up next, the Cardinals play the Community School of Davidson Spartans (Davidson, NC) in a 1A/2A Conference A battle, on Friday, September 1. Corvian Community will attempt to advance on its 1-1 season record. The Spartans enter the battle with a 2-0 record after their 29-21 non-league win over Charlotte Country Day School (Charlotte, NC).
