The Hickory Ridge Ragin' Bulls football team (Harrisburg, NC), was knocked off 75-49 in Friday's non-league challenge with the host Independence Patriots (Charlotte, NC)

The Patriots (1-1) will now prepare for their challenge against West Charlotte (Charlotte, NC). The Lions come into the non-league challenge with a 2-0 record. In their last challenge, West Charlotte knocked off Monroe (Monroe, NC), 43-29, in a non-league challenge.

The Ragin' Bulls now sport a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Porter Ridge for a non-league challenge on Friday, September 1. Hickory Ridge will meet a Pirates team coming off a 49-3 non-league win over South Iredell (Statesville, NC). The Pirates record now stands at 2-0.
