August 25, 2023: Elk City, OK 73644 In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Hinton Comets football squad scored a good 39-25 victory over the Merritt Oilers.
In their next game, the Comets clash with the Marietta Indians (Marietta, OK) in a non-league match, on Friday, September 1. Hinton will attempt to move on its 1-0 season record. The Indians enter the match with a 0-1 record after their 42-7 non-league loss to Valliant (Valliant, OK).
The Oilers (0-1) will now prepare for their match against Cordell (Cordell, OK). The Blue Devils enter the non-league match with a 0-1 record. In their last match, Cordell dropped by Sayre (Sayre, OK), 48-0, in a non-league match.
