In Friday's non-league game, the Hudson Explorers (Hudson, OH) football team smashed the host Hoover Vikings (North Canton, OH), by a score of 45-8.

The Explorers (2-0) will now prepare for their game against Cleveland Heights (Cleveland Heights, OH). The Tigers come into the non-league game with a 1-1 record. In their last game, Cleveland Heights was ripped by Paramus Catholic (Paramus, NJ), 43-41, in a non-league game.
