The Natrona County Mustangs (Casper, WY) football defeated the visiting Laramie Plainsmen (Laramie, WY), 29-0 in Friday's league bout.

In their next game, the Mustangs face the East Thunderbirds (Cheyenne, WY) in a 4A bout, on Friday, September 1. Natrona County will attempt to advance on its 1-0 season record. The Thunderbirds enter the bout with a 1-0 record after their 49-12 league win over Campbell County (Gillette, WY).

The Plainsmen (0-1) will now prepare for their bout against Campbell County (Gillette, WY). The Camels enter the 4A bout with a 0-1 record. In their last bout, Campbell County lost by East (Cheyenne, WY), 49-12, in a league bout.
