The Manchester Township Hawks (Lakehurst, NJ) football overcame the visiting North Plainfield Canucks (North Plainfield, NJ), 34-6 in Friday's non-league bout.

In their next game, the Hawks face the Barnegat Bengals (Barnegat, NJ) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, August 31. Manchester Township will attempt to move on its 1-0 season record. The Bengals enter the bout with a 1-1 record after their 7-6 non-league loss to Monmouth Regional (Tinton Falls, NJ).

The Canucks (0-1) will now prepare for their bout against Voorhees (Glen Gardner, NJ). The Vikings enter the non-league bout with a 0-1 record. In their last bout, Voorhees was toppled by Somerville (Somerville, NJ), 41-7, in a non-league bout.
