The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Walsh Jesuit Warriors (Cuyahoga Falls, OH) and the visiting McDowell Trojans (Erie, PA), observed Walsh Jesuit's football squad defeat McDowell by a count of 49-28.

The Warriors now own a 2-0 record. They play next when they host St. Francis DeSales for a non-league contest on Friday, September 1. Walsh Jesuit will encounter a Stallions squad coming off a 10-6 non-league loss to Badin (Hamilton, OH). The Stallions record now stands at 3-1.
