August 25, 2023: Garden Grove, IA 50103 The Melcher-Dallas Saints football team (Melcher, IA), was ripped 50-14 in Friday's non-league challenge with the host Mormon Trail Saints (Garden Grove, IA)
The Saints (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Southeast Warren (Liberty Center, IA). The Warhawks come into the 8-Man District 8 (8 Man) challenge with a 0-1 record. In their last challenge, Southeast Warren was ripped by Montezuma (Montezuma, IA), 47-28, in a non-league challenge.
The Saints now sport a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Belle Plaine for a 8-Man District 7 (8 Man) challenge on Friday, September 1. Melcher-Dallas will meet a Plainsmen team coming off a 60-6 non-league win over H-L-V (Victor, IA). The Plainsmen record now stands at 1-1.
