In Friday's non-league game, the Millard South Patriots (Omaha, NE) football team tipped the host Millard West Wildcats (Omaha, NE), by a final score of 28-27.

The Patriots (1-0) will now prepare for their game against Elkhorn South (Omaha, NE). The Storm come into the non-league game with a 1-0 record. In their last game, Elkhorn South got by Lincoln Southeast (Lincoln, NE), 35-7, in a non-league challenge.

The Wildcats now sport a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Omaha North for a non-league challenge on Friday, September 1. Millard West will meet a Vikings team coming off a 25-7 non-league win over Bellevue West (Bellevue, NE). The Vikings record now stands at 1-0.
