August 25, 2023: Greenfield, IA 50849 The Nodaway Valley Wolverines football team (Greenfield, IA), was beaten 39-12 in Friday's non-league challenge with the visiting Mount Ayr Raiders (Mount Ayr, IA)
The Raiders (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Wayne (Corydon, IA). The Falcons come into the A District 6 challenge with a 1-0 record. In their last challenge, Wayne knocked off Colfax-Mingo (Colfax, IA), 42-8, in a non-league challenge.
The Wolverines now sport a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Central Decatur for a non-league challenge on Friday, September 1. Nodaway Valley will meet a Cardinals team coming off a 25-7 non-league loss to Earlham (Earlham, IA). The Cardinals record now stands at 0-1.
