The Taft Senators football squad scored 40 points and restricted the host Reading Blue Devils to 27 in the Senators non-league victory on Friday.

The Senators now possess a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host DuPont Manual for a non-league battle on Friday, September 1. Taft will play a Crimsons squad coming off a 20-7 non-league win over Central Hardin (Cecilia, KY). The Crimsons record now stands at 2-0.
