August 25, 2023: East Lansing, MI 48823 In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Portage Central Mustangs football squad scored a close 14-12 victory over the East Lansing Trojans.
In their next game, the Mustangs clash with the Forest Hills Central Rangers (Grand Rapids, MI) in a non-league match, on Wednesday, August 30. Portage Central will attempt to move on its 1-0 season record.
The Trojans (0-1) will now prepare for their match against Hudsonville (Hudsonville, MI). The Eagles enter the non-league match with a 1-0 record. In their last match, Hudsonville held off Howell (Howell, MI), 42-22, in a non-league match.
