August 25, 2023: Merced, CA 95348 The Cordova Lancers football team (Rancho Cordova, CA), was knocked off 27-0 in Friday's non-league challenge with the host El Capitan Gauchos (Merced, CA)
The Gauchos (2-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Livingston (Livingston, CA). The Wolves come into the non-league challenge with a 1-1 record.
The Lancers now sport a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they host Rio Linda for a non-league challenge on Friday, September 1. Cordova will meet a Knights team coming off a 21-6 non-league loss to Lincoln (Lincoln, CA). The Knights record now stands at 0-2.
