August 25, 2023: Chicago, IL 60608 Cristo Rey Jesuit Cristeros (Chicago, IL) fans were pleased Friday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Little Village Phoenix (Chicago, IL), 8-0 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Cristeros confront the Solorio Sun Warriors (Chicago, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, August 29. Cristo Rey Jesuit will attempt to better on its 1-0 season record. The Sun Warriors enter the challenge with a 1-0 record after their 8-0 non-league win over Blue Island Eisenhower (Blue Island, IL).
The Phoenix now have a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to North Grand for a non-league challenge on Monday, August 28.
