August 25, 2023: Lincolnshire, IL 60069 The Leyden Eagles (Franklin Park, IL) soccer bounced the host Stevenson Patriots (Lincolnshire, IL), 5-1 in Friday's non-league bout.
With the win, Leyden moves its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Glenbard North (Carol Stream, IL) to battle the Panthers in a non-league bout on Monday, August 28. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 0-2. Glenbard North lost 1-0 in their recent non-league bout against Lane Tech (Chicago, IL)
In their next game, the Patriots battle the Vernon Hills Cougars (Vernon Hills, IL) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, August 26. Stevenson will attempt to move on its 0-1 season record. The Cougars go into the bout with a 0-1 record after their 4-0 non-league loss to Fremd (Palatine, IL).
