August 25, 2023: Birmingham, AL 35242 The crowd at Friday's non-league bout between the Briarwood Christian Lions (Birmingham, AL) and the visiting Daphne Trojans (Daphne, AL), saw Briarwood Christian's volleyball squad beat Daphne by a tally of 2-0.
With the win, Briarwood Christian upgrades its record to 2-0 on the year. The Lions travel to Pelham (Pelham, AL) to play the Panthers in a bout on Tuesday, September 12. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 0-0.
The Trojans now own a 1-2 record. They play next when they travel to Collierville for a non-league bout on Saturday, August 26. Daphne will play a Dragons squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Germantown (Germantown, TN). The Dragons record now stands at 1-0.
