August 25, 2023: Downingtown, PA 19335 The crowd at Friday's non-league test between the Academy Park Knights (Sharon Hill, PA) and the host Bishop Shanahan Eagles (Downingtown, PA), saw Academy Park's soccer squad triumph over Bishop Shanahan by a count of 9-0.
The Knights now hold a 2-0 record. They play next when they travel to Ridley for a non-league test on Monday, August 28. Academy Park will meet a Raiders squad coming off a 6-2 non-league win over Interboro (Prospect Park, PA). The Raiders record now stands at 1-1.
With the loss, Bishop Shanahan drops to 1-2 on the season. The Eagles travel to Garnet Valley (Glen Mills, PA) to meet the Jaguars in a non-league test on Friday, September 1. The Jaguars come into the test with a record of 0-2.
